If your mom is anything like mine, then you'll have grown up hearing things like, "You don't know how lucky you are; when I was your age, I was working three jobs." Or, "Another date?! What's taking you so long? When I was 26, I was already married to your father and expecting your older brother." It's safe to say that today's young generation lives very differently from how our parents did. Important milestones like getting married and having kids are happening much later on in life, and instead, careers, parties, and social media have taken precedence. To show these stark differences, people are posting pictures on Twitter of them Vs. their parents at the same age, proving just how large the gap between the generations is.

Yep, at 25 our parents were happily in love and married and knew just a little bit about how they were going to end up in life. We, on the other hand, might not even know what we're eating for dinner tonight.

I see no issues with this. Honestly, I would much rather have a cat companion than a male companion at 24. They're about the same amount of work, but cats are smaller, so it's less expensive to feed them.
